It’s been nearly a month since I posted here. In my defense, I would say that I’ve been really tired. Not “didn’t get enough sleep” tired; serious fatigue tired. It appears to be a medical problem that I thought was getting worked out, then I got some sort of cold or virus. I’ve slept something like 40 hours in the last 2 days.
I may talk about the fatigue thing if, indeed, it continues to improve. For a couple of weeks there, I didn’t even have the energy to read my daily web sources and ended up deleting hundreds of RSS entries at a time. I’ve started reading again and am following a few developments with a certain amount of interest. Obviously the situation in Egypt is of interest. Especially interesting is Sandmonkey’s take, what with him actually being there and all. I’m not a big twitter fan, but his tweets, often from the action we only heard about later, has been fascinating.
I’m also following the nonsense in Wisconsin.
And I missed out on the opportunity to jump in and support Travis Corcoran (TJIC, whom I’ve linked to frequently). By the way, there are more interesting and in-depth posts about Travis’s situation which I intend to gather up later, but Radley Balko’s is a pretty concise summary.
If you’ve ever blogged, you know that getting started again after a long layoff is hard. That said, I’ll leave you with a link to an absolutely beautiful video based on Fibonacci numbers. Trust me. If you’re not into Fibonacci numbers, forget the math. The video is worth your time.
