We don’t mind the rain

Virtual Vices IV Actually, we would really like some rain here in the Ratlands, what with it going to be in the low 100’s for the forseeable future, but that’s neither here nor there. I picked up Virtual Vices IV by Pete Namlook and Wolfram Spyra last week. We don’t mind the rain is a really nice tune off the album. I often buy albums for one song, if it really grabs me as this one did when I heard it on Groove Salad. I was, therefore, pleasantly surprised to find that there isn’t a bad track on the disc. It’s basically 5 very pleasant ten-minute-plus instrumentals. I don’t know what to call the genre, maybe “ambient jazz”? There’s no real point to this, other than to say I like it a lot. I’ve been using it at work as the soundtrack for my day while I work on reports and put together the preliminary work on our contingency plan for dealing with what happens if we actually get hit by the Avian Flu the WHO and the CDC keep promising us.
